Likert Scale/Slider

A Likert scale question provides the survey participant with a horizontal ruler or slider, set up with your chosen minimum and maximum value points. Question setters complete the Question text, then add text to the minimum and maximum label boxes; low to high, poor to excellent and so on.  The minimum value appears to the left of the question and the maximum on the right.

Survey participants select their preferred response by moving the pointer to their desired marker.

Setting values and steps, showing results

Results from Likert Scale questions are presented based on the numeric values set in the Min and Max value selectors and the number of steps you offer to participants.

In this example, the available values are 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. If the number of steps had been set to 10, the available values would include 0.5, 1.5, 2.5 and so on. The slider will always snap to the nearest value.
